Ministry Of The Word (Readers)

The Reader Ministry is a significant lay ministry within the Catholic Church. Readers provide the prayerful and powerful proclamation of the Word of God at daily and weekend Masses, and special liturgical celebrations.  Ministers should be of sufficient maturity and competency to undertake this ministry, with the ability to proclaim God’s Word effectively in a faith-filled manner during public worship. Training is provided.
